Nikolay Stepanov, Muranov, Chernyakov & Partners

Nikolay Stepanov graduated from the Faculty of Law of Tver State University.

He is a qualified specialist with a degree in Civil Law.

Nikolay Stepanov was improving his knowledge of the legal profession and acquiring necessary skills having worked several years as a lawyer in such well-known business-structures as, for example, Severnaya Neft, Regional centre “Delta SP” etc. Nikolay cooperated with the Managing Partners of Muranov, Chernyakov & Partners Law Firm Alexander Muranov and Dmitry Chernyakov representing other structures. Since January 2006 Nikolay Stepanov has been a partner of Muranov, Chernyakov & Partners Law Firm after a few years of work.

In particular, Nikolay Stepanov specializes in dispute resolution: in court proceedings and enforcement procedure. One of the spheres of Nikolay’s activity is corporate law, that is, mergers and acquisitions; joint ventures; corporate governance and internal control procedures; corporate restructuring; privatization.

Nikolay Stepanov is also an expert in bankruptcy and debt restructuring issues. His scope of activity includes consulting of debtors and creditors; debt repayment.

Nikolay has an experience of work on the projects associated with taxation. He deals with corporate tax; taxation of trade; tax planning; tax disputes.

Nikolay Stepanov participated in implementation of a number of complex projects of Muranov, Chernyakov & Partners Law Firm, inter alia, in the sphere of subsurface resources use. He rendered various legal services to the leaders of the Russian market: Rosneft, Gazprombank, Renaissance Insurance, Russian Standard Insurance, Severnaya neft, Urengoygeoresurs.
