Corruption

Corruption is getting pricey. The Criminal Code has been amended and now the fine for bribery can reach a hundred percent of the kickback. Acting as an intermediary in a dirty affair has become a felony on its own. Though Russian law is fairly tough and recognises corruption both in public and commercial sectors, its strictness doesn’t seem to pay off: Russia tops the list of Europe’s most corrupted countries.
